Safety designed to give more hand clearance between the bar and handle when clamps are in full, open position. Bar guide feature gives extra lateral support and rigidity to hold-down bar at front of base. Steel series 213, 217, 227, 237 are supplied with neoprene tipped spindle assemblies and flanged washers. Series 245 and all stainless steel clamps are supplied with a hex head spindle assembly. U-bar type.
